Nominated for Country Recording of the Year at the 2008 JUNO Awards, Canadian country star Johnny Reid will perform in support of his latest GOLD certified release Kicking Stones during a stop at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton on Monday, Nov. 17.
Having played the Grand Ole Opry and toured with the likes of Dwight Yoakam and Martina McBride, Reid followed up his highly acclaimed debut Born to Roll with 2007’s Kicking Stones. The disc includes his latest single “Thank You,” which is in heavy rotation on CMT Canada, “Darlin’,” “Love Sweet Love” and the title track.
Reid has been honoured with multiple awards to date including the 2007 Canadian Country Music Award (CCMA) for Independent Male Artist of the Year and the 2006 CCMA for Rising Star of the Year, Independent Male Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for his song “Missing an Angel.”
